We spent a day in Trindade, a beatiful and still really savage area at 30 km from Paraty.  The road to reach the village is fine, throughout the forest, (mata atlantica). The only problem is the access to the village of Trindade. When it rains a lot, the small river get bigger and bigger and sometimes you can not get back by car and you have to spend the night in Trindade.

We took the risk as that day was quite rainy but everything went ok!

This is Praia do Cepilho, loved by surfers. Here you can spot one between the rocks:

I spent 4 days with Cecilia and my parents in the beatiful colonial town of Paraty, on the coast of Rio de Janeiro's state. Its cobblestone streets are incredibles even if with rain can be a bit difficult to walk.

If you like you can take a carriage with a horse to have a nice trip around the town. There are few colonial churches to visit, a lot of nice restaurants to eat and amazing shops.

Behind the city there is the forest and in front of it the sea. Amazing!.

When the night falls, Paraty will conquest you with all its charm!

Higly recommended.
